It has taken a while to have my site running… But with the help of a Pro Bono creative designer Patrick DeVivo my site is finally starting to shape up.
I have blogged before in my previous posts… that adsense is a $500Million for-all online opportunity… But to start making money online… It requires patience and repetitive trial and errors, trying new marketing campaigns and employing the latest SEO/SEM concepts… Before you can start monetizing… it requires a lot of planning and creating strategies to execute over a period of time.
To get started, you need a reliable computer… Laptop or a Desktop while factoring many preferences of your choice Dell… Toshiba… Gateway… Sony… Macintosh… but remember nothing beats a brand with a good screen/monitor resolution to allow you to work in clarity.
You need a reliable Internet connection… either DSL/CABLE or any other broadband connections… Secure IP versus shared High speed connection where your DL/UL speeds are constantly up and down with varing stability to effectively do editorial and/or webmastering. Independent publishing requires good bandwidth to upload and download files… A Standard procedure in a sense… Check out other options… to allow you to keep publishing and blogging on the-go… mobile…. My best, emerging solution is FON, the largest WiFI Community.
You also require a good hosting either shared or on a dedicated server. I chose Covad for my hosting because I have used them before and they have good service though a little expensive. If you have limited html/css abilities don’t waste time using the web builders… It takes too much time and can get frustrating… Find a pro bono developer or pay someone to configure your server and install your publishing platform.
Blog monetization can and shouldn’t be an overnight expectation… Rather it is a careful and well thought-out process of providing good, precise and interesting content for your target audience… In the process you establish enough relevance to make money with ads, paid sponsors, affiliate programs and other forms of blog revenue streams.
I always encourage friends and readers to learn to diversify their Blog Monetization portfolios.
Like the stock market… Have short term Blog Monetization Portfolios and long term Blog Monetization portfolios… Use various campaigns and marketing strategies to start seeing positive from negative, divide to bridging the National Association of Blog Monetization Adsense Quotations (NABMAQ) the new online money index similar to the NASDAQ.
